Short Bio

Frederico Schardong is a professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). His research interests include digital identity, decentralized identity, authentication protocols and identity federation, digital signatures, and their applications. In addition to his academic work, he coordinates research, development, and innovation projects focused on the specification, implementation, and adoption of digital identity solutions, in collaboration with industry and public institutions in Brazil and Mozambique.
